O WHAT A FEELIN!

We made a trip to town yesterday to our SATURN dealership. We had leased a SATURN VUE 4 years ago, and the lease was up. The reason we leased it was that the lease payment was a lot less than the buy payment ($250. versus $500.) and I know it was a stupid thing to do but we did it and as you know once you sign your name your pretty much locked in for the 4 years. Well our 4 years was up yesterday Hallelujia!
GOODBYE SATURN. FAREWELL PAYMENTS

NOW we have NO car payments. This is really funny because my middle sister
Carol (Welcome to my world) wrote a post about how we were raised to be debt free, and coincidentally that's what I'm posting about. Go read her post. Its a good one.
Rudy was a little bit sad because he liked the saturn, but he has the van and we are looking for a replacement for that, with a wheelchair lift for Ricky, but that won't hurt US financially.

On a different note, I took a picture of Fred , my step-dad this past Sunday at church. He is doing fine. He was so good and took such loving care of my Mother.

Anyway.....I just wanted you to know that he's fat as a fiddle and doing FINE. In fact Ive been by his house several times and can't catch him. He's busy as a bee. Taking some of our fellow church members to the doctor and just being a good Samaritan. He's being a good example to us! I'd like to say to those church members (who read my blog) I MISS YOU MR. & MRS. LACY!! Get well soon!

Ya'll have a great WEDNESDAY! God Bless you, and Keep you, and direct your steps!

Hi Glenda,
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I love yours! We're farmers so we can never be completely debt free, but the trade offs are marvelous. :)

Hugs,
Mary

Okay...I think I know who your first comment was from...Ha!Ha!
Our goal is debt free too!
Even if we do without...I won't ever owe anyone again!
We are getting closer and closer! :)
We do...have to keep reminding ourselves daily what our ultimate goal is...It is a daily challenge!
Good for you...God bless!
