Winter Formal

Whitney went to winter formal this past Saturday night. Actually she went with a guy, who was just a friend and the whole date thing went sour because she wanted to be with her friends and the guy felt left out. She had told him prior to the "date" that they were just friends. Its a really long story, but this guy is much too old, but because he is the son of a friend of mine, and home schooled (he had never been to a dance, and wanted to go to one...) I let him take Whitney. Yes I trust him this much. He really is a nice kid who races motorcycles, but not boyfriend material for Whitney. She texted me during their dinner and said "he is making motorcycle sounds, mama" I told her "it'll be over soon" She actually tried to get out of going, but I told her "you invited him and now YOU WILL go!"
He is 18 and she is 15. I know, I'm crazy. She's home, she's safe and she says she'll never speak to this guy again. He didn't bring her home. He was ready to go before it was over and she told him "go on home, I'll call my mom. And she did! Boys are SOOOOOooooo much easier!
I am definatly living and learning.
Isn't she a pretty girl tho?

He really is a handsome guy, and she's a beautiful girl, but... for now...

She already has a boyfriend !!!...HER DADDY!!

LOL. This is a cute post. Whitney is for sure a heart breaker. It isn't easy to be a girl in this day and age especially if you are pretty and talented. Dee

Right now, I think the only BF she needs is her Daddy! Beautiful dress and beautiful girl.
Thanks for your encouragement on my mom. Actually there are 10 of us still alive, from 12. It is just that others are working or away so we are the ones who are the main caregivers.

Whitney looks very pretty. I agree with Gramma 2 many though. Her daddy is the only boyfriend she needs at this point in her life.
