I'm Trying to Grow Up

Hey, 4 out of 8 aint bad

I am going through some really weird-sad emotions these days.
Matt, Missy and the kids are moving to Beaumont (for Matts new position) and I'm sad about that. Michael , Kelly and Kaleb are here visiting. They're not coming home to stay either. They are moving to Asheville, North Carolina. Little Rudy is in Lufkin and his wife has decided that she doesn't want to be apart of our family , so of course , they won't.
Chris, Dolese and Jennifer on Mother's day
Jesse
Thank the Lord Chad and Chris and Jesse are still here, and of course 15 year old Whitney. Heaven help the man that EVER tries to take her. She's MY daughter.
Remember the saying that goes:
A daughter is a daughter
for all of her life,
but a son is only a son
til he takes a wife...
I TAKE THAT REAL SERIOUS!

I'm feelin that pretty bad about now.
I know they have to grow up , and find their own way, but don't they still need me? I guess not, at least not on a every day basis.
O well I still have Noah. His mommy Jessica is staying here alot now too and Yesenia will be here next Tuesday, so I won't really have time to be too sad.
On a lighter note, I got thrown into the pool last night by Rudy and Chris and my shoulder hurts this morning. I still have muscles cause I fought it, but I'm weak cause they threw me in... sure did feel good tho once the struggle was over. The water's FINE. No-there are NO pictures, it was gruesome.

You have a beautiful family. I know you love each one and want the best for them. Sometimes the best is becoming a friend to your parents instead of a dependent, right?

I know it's hard when they move away though.

If you were in Arlington WA, I would tell you to come in for a massage! I tell my boys they are only allowed to fall in love with girls from Washington state for that reason! I will let you know how that turns out=)

I hate that anonymous people only comment smart cracks and then don't leave a way for me to comment back...I dont think I said ANYWHERE in this post that I felt like my sons had been stolen. Just that they were grown and had to go their own way.
