Scripture Passages: Our Stroll in the Park

How foolish to fear man, when he is but a man, and God saves the soul - "The fear of man brings a snare: but whoso puts his trust in the Lord shall be set on high"
(Prov 29:25).

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)

Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. (Psalm 33:8)

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1John4:4)

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. (1John 4:5)

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Revelation 5:13
