MATT 17:14 says:
Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Pro 18:15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

Pro 18:16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Pro 18:17 [He that is] first in his own cause [seemeth] just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.

Pro 18:18 The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth between the mighty.

Pro 18:19 A brother offended [is harder to be won] than a strong city: and [their] contentions [are] like the bars of a castle.

Pro 18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; [and] with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Pro 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Pro 18:22 [Whoso] findeth a wife findeth a good [thing], and obtaineth favour of the LORD.

Pro 18:23 The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.

Pro 18:24 A man [that hath] friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother.

These WORDS are supposed to be LIFE to me...yet my eyes are SEALED

One of my very favorite verses is Acts 16:31
The earthquake hits while Paul and Silas are in prison. All of the prisoners escape and the guard is terrified for his life because he fears Paul and Silas have escaped also. He goes to find them and they are still in their cell. He spends some time questioning them, and then asks how he can have the peace they have. Paul tells him to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and he shall be saved, and his household.
The bible is full of these type of salvation verses that tell us our salvation is belief in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. We are told all of the time to believe believe believe. Satan is the greatest deceiver and will use any means to make you question Him and His gift to us. As long as we keep our focus on the cross and what took place there so many years ago, he cannot take that away from us. A great reference to salvation is in Romans, It has been called the Romans road to salvation. It is too long for me to put in your comment form, but if you are interested I will send you references via e-mail.
Religious people will be in hell, think of the Pharasies who stood on the street corner beating their breast saying how great they were and what wonderful things they did.
They were not believers, yet they were religious.
If we could earn our Salvation, we would have never needed a Saviour.
If we could do it on our own, he would have never needed to die on the cross for us. Belief is the key.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doubting your salvation at times, or Paul would never have told us to Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?2 Corinthians 13:5 Remember that doubt isn't the opposite of belief. Unbelief is. WE often need to question our salvation when we act or do things that are ungodly. If we aren't convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit it's time to really consider if we are saved or not.

Satan's greatest deception is to cause a lost person to believe he is saved, not to cause a saved person to believe he's lost. He knows he can't do that.
