HOUSTON

Went to Houston last week with my sister to visit my Aunt and uncle and cousins. Sure enjoyed the visit! Had a nice trip. Sometimes its good to get "out a dodge" for a few days!

This is my cousin J.C.
2nd cousin Christine and 3rd cousin Jonna
My Dear Aunt Melba (aunt Burr) and my Uncle Gene
My cousin A'Laine
This is me and my Aunt "Burr"

This is my mothers only living sister and I think she smelled a little bit like my mother! It was so good to get to go and visit and talk about old times and my mother and things in the past. Everybody was so gracious and they made us feel so welcome.
Thanks ya'll for a great visit!

Family is one of God's greatest blessings!!
A sidenote about the song you posted in my comments.
It is one of my least favorite to hear being sung, granted it is beautiful and the words so very inspiring but sometimes I think it is over used. That aside, I am not a very comfortable flyer. As we were cruising at 30,000 feet know what I became aware of what was going through my mind?
The words, Then sings my soul my Saviour God to me..............It is amazing how he comforts us just when we need it with the most appropriate words. I would have never conciously choosen that song to sing. I may have to change my mind about having it sung at my funeral. Thanks:)
