Welcome Carter-Happy Birthday Christopher

Rudy and I got a brand new grandson on the 6th. God blessed us with
Carter Wood Rodriguez
on this past Tuesday . He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and has a head full of black hair. We made a quick trip to see him and cant wait to go back. He is a really pretty baby boy and we cant wait to "get to know him". Congratulations to Rudy II and Casey.

Happy Birthday to my oldest son Chris!


We had a great hamburger supper for Chris' 32nd birthday . He wanted home-made burgers with home-made fries and thats exactly what he got. We had a house full, including Meo and John , the boys dad-Mark,and all of our own boys except Little Rudy, who was busy taking care of his 3 day old son, and Chad, who was working ( We missed you Chad and Kathryn, Rudy , Casey and Carter!)

Matt is getting ready to leave us again. He has joined the ARMY! He has already proven that he's one of "The FEW, The PROUD, A MARINE...But he spent all his education money getting his B.S.N.R.N. and he wants to be "more" , so he gets another sign on bonus, and more money for more college! He WILL either be a Nurse anesthesis, or a Doctor someday, you just watch! He's one determined, goal oriented boy, and he will "be all that he can be" . He starts officer candidate school on the 14th in San Antonio and will be stationed @ Fort Sill , OK. in January 2010. I'm gonna miss you son!

He is proof that, "If there's a will, there's a way!

Michael made it home and is staying with Chad for the time being. He has gone back to work for Tyler Pest Services. He will be searching for a new home for he, Kaleb and Kelly, who will be joining him here around December.

conned me into taking them down to Chris' house , conning him outside and bombarding him with water balloons. Well we tried. The balloons were too thick and did not pop like they were supposed to. Chris was cheesin' cause their ploy didn't work!

I almost forgot... I pulled Lucas' tooth. Wow he bled alot! I should have taken a picture , but didn't. He must be growing up cause there were NO tears!

This is my very PHIRST baby. His name is Christopher. He was 9 years old when this was taken. This is back in 1986. About 6 weeks before this picture was taken he was burned over 27% of his body by a freak (little boy) accident. He was care flighted to a Dallas hospital and we were so scared we were gonna lose him . Actually they care flighted him to Dallas because he was burned really bad on his chest and neck and the Dr.'s feared his airway closing. He was and is PHINE! I was one scared Mama!
I thank God for Chris. He has brought me MUCH JOY! He will be 32 in October and yes he did grow into his ears!...I was 12 when I had him (yeah right)

THEY HAD A BAD DAY...

Everytime I go out, I take my camera because I have to be on the lookout for a great FHoto for : CANDID CARRIE'S FRIDAY FOTO FIESTA (FOLLOW THIS LINK FOR MORE FOTO'S)

I was on my way home from the grocery store on Wednesday and I saw this poor car straddling the ditch. It must have just happened because it wasn't there when I headed into town. The cops had just shown up to investigate. The driver was nowhere to be found.



This guy missed his turn, all the way around.

This morning I went and picked up my sister , Mary,( Life of MEJ KING) and we topped a hill and saw this...

This was a really bad wreck. I hope everybody was o.k. They had already cleared alot of the wreckage but 1 lane was still closed. This little volunteer fireman was really friendly!

Somebody's range rover...ouch that hurt , Thats Michael's dream car.

When we were leaving my daddys house today we saw this guy sitting on the corner. I know for some this is the "norm" but not in our neck of the woods. He was a real friendly guy tho, he waved a couple times at us. I waited til he looked away to take his candid camera shot.

On a lighter note...here is another one of the "stars" in my life, my oldest son Christopher! Isn't he a handsome guy! He came to get a movie and to borrow some pedialite (Dolese has a stomach ache.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER MARK
ON OCTOBER THE 9TH 1977 I WAS BLESSED WITH AN 8 LB 13 OZ BOUNCING BABY BOY
He was 22 inches long and as cute as a button.
I was trying to figure out who all was there and I think I see the back of Mr Greenlee and maybe Lesa Abercrombie, in the waiting room when the its a BOY light came on. That was before they could tell you the sex of the baby and we were totally surprised with a SON! Its really a good thing cause Mark wanted to name him "Patricia " if he had been a girl. I wanted to name him "Misty Dawn". I love you so much Chris, my sonny suzette, my "ristopher, hopper,chrishopper.






He was such a sweet boy and so pretty!
