A Christian and yet a worldling?

I guess young people today are really no different from when I was a young person . Things are certainly different. There were no computers when I was young, but there were the same opportunities I guess , to show that I belonged to God. I read lots of blogs of young people who claim to be christian, but I see no signs or differences from all the other blogs except maybe no cuss-words. One blog that I read talks about going to the club, dancing drinking, yet this blogger says that they are a christian...humm....No body mentions church or the things God has done in their lives, I see such an opportunity, but no takers. You can really learn alot from someones blog. You can see who their friends are, what their friends see in them ect. I am saddened by all this. I'm not God , but God see's all, more than I see, and He's not sad. He's probly disgusted (I'm sure he's disgusted at me as well, I'm so righteous...yeah right)The bible talks about these people...
2Ti 3:1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Awe man, I'm probly included in this list of people So what is the answer? Look to Christ the only answer. My understanding of our human responsibility is that others should see Christ in us. Do they? Are we really any different? I mean we go to church we sing , we study our bibles, but when we walk out those doors are we different from the world? If not what could we do different? Are we focusing on our looks , our bodies, our cars that we drive, trying to be Kool, or are we living for the Lord? What do your kids see when they look at you, a christian or a Kool kat? What do your clothes look like, are you dressing like a christian or are you dressing so close to the line that nobody can see the difference? Just a little bit of cleavage showing? Just enough covering to say I wear clothes? Dont you see, satan's using you? And you say your a christian? Please denounce Christ, don't even say it, if its not seared in your heart don't even say it. Its a false conversion. You've been decieved. The bad thing is people are watching YOU, maybe some impressionable youth, maybe some young person that thinks that your just what they wanna be when they grow up. The bible says:

Eph 4:14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
Eph 4:17
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Eph 4:22
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph 4:23
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph 4:24
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Dare to be different TODAY!

"Do not love the world or the things that belong to the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him." (1 John 2:15) "You adulterers! Don't you realize that friendship with this world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again, that if your aim is to enjoy this world, you can't be a friend of God." (James 4:4) The point is settled. The Christian cannot take part with the world in its follies, and gaieties, and sins!
What! A Christian and yet a worldling--singing its idle songs, hurrying through its mazy dance, partaking in its mirth and revelry! Impossible!
We have ceased to be citizens of earth's polluted cities; we are citizens of heaven! We have a home--but not inthe palaces or haunts of the world. We have a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens!"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ!" (Phil. 3:20)
